Dear Madame Joy,I  love Christmas time. The lights, the decoration, the music and people are in a much better mood. With all the negativity around us, the festive nature of Christmas just makes me happy.Madame Joy,  it’s almost time for us to put up our Christmas tree. Usually I decorate the tree on my own but this year I wanted to include our girls. They are 5 and 7 years old and thought it would a nice family bonding activity, especially seeing it’s Christmas time.I think it would be so cute watching them hang the decorations and it would teach them a bit of responsibility handling the decorations.My husband thinks it’s a bad idea, personally I think he’s just sore  because I won’t let him join in.Madame Joy he’s a klutz and we always end up arguing when  he “helps”.How can I convince him to give us girls this little task without him feeling excluded?Oh Christmas Tree! Dat gyul really need some Christmas cheer boy.Yuh ever hear de expression “if it ain’t broke doh fix it?” Yuh have tuh train dem creatures from young. It too late fuh dem now… doh do it…Yuh have tuh watch dem hooligans eh. I keep telling allyuh DAT dem creatures is gangsta but allyuh doh listen.  My mother used say “if yuh doh hear, yuh go feel”.Gyul, This is no damn Hallmark movie… what if they drop one ah yuh nice decoration. Oh wait, you tink dat you could keep dem away from it. If yuh doh care or yuh have “unbreakable” balls. Ha!! Unbreakable balls!!! Sorry, as ah was saying. You go girl, family bonding and all dat… yeah!!!I go tell yuh dis, if it was me, I might have tuh sell one ah meh children if dey break one ah my decoration, so I share the experience with dem by letting dem watch me. :)Gyul yuh know when yuh take yuh children tuh de mall tuh see santa dey have a fence around santa clause? Yuh ever see that? Well it have a reason fuh dat. Dem children is gansgtas. That is like black Friday fuh children. Dey will run yuh ass over to get over to Santa!! Sorry childhood flashback… Yuh have a train? Oh my gosh yes, a Christmas train going around de tree and the damn child come and grab yuh train and pelt it someway and break it!!! Wait sorry again dat is de adult trauma.So, should you include yuh children, is the season of giving and yada yada…Yes absolutely, give them two plastic ball and let each one hang one on de tree. When dey done hang dem, put dem chirren behind that fence until yuh done decorating yuh tree an since yuh KNOW yuh not going tuh like wey dey hang the balls… just move dem. Dey go never know. Jus’ sayin’.Follow these simple steps and you too will attain happiness and clarity.p.s. doh tink i forget eh, the man is part ah de family, so why de ass you doh let him hang some balls, is sound like you done hang he own balls, so let him have some fun with he children.Thank you for selecting us as your emotional crisis advisor.
