What do you get for someone who needs nothing? Well you get them something they really want. On August 18th, Britain’s Ivena Smailes turned 105. What did she want for her birthday? Well she wanted a group of hunky firefighters to climb through her window.
Smailes, a resident at the Addison Court Care Home in Crawbrook, England had her wish fulfilled by the local Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service. Five members joined in on her celebration, with one of them actually fulfilling her request and coming through her window.
Known for her sense of humor, Ivy’s wish was made a reality with the help of Debra Carter, a staff member at the facility. Like the other staff members she were not surprised by Ivy’s request but the Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service, thought it was a joke. They did not believe that a 105 year old woman would ask for something like this.
For her 104th birthday wish , Smailes had members of the Addison staff climbed her favorite tree in her old village and carve her name in it.
Looking to the future, for her 106th birthday, Smailes set her eyes to royalty. She would like to meet Prince Harry.
Age does not have to dim you sense of humor. Keep smiling, it keeps you young at heart. Keep those kinky dreams, Ivy still got her hunka, hunka burning love at 105.
