Friday Funnies!!!

Not really funny ha!ha! More ironic ha!ha!

The other day I heard a story about a father very upset with the railway company because his son was injured on a track.

How did his son manage to get injured? Why, thank you for asking. His 18 year old son climbed up to a train bridge, fell on the track and was subsequently electrocuted. Thankfully he did not die but he did lose a leg.

This is not the first time something like this has happened and I sure I won’t be the last. A few years ago a 17 year old was hit and killed by an unexpected train while he partied with his friends in a train tunnel. A train tunnel!!! The parents were up in arms and again the parents blamed the rail way company because they did not have a fence around the area.

While I do sympathize with these family. I would like to know what part of train and danger does not connect. Why you need to put up a sign that say “you know you really shouldn’t hang out here because you could be injured or worse yet kill, eh!”

Would such a sign actually make a difference? If something is electrified there is always something indicating this. I am willing to bet this young man say such a symbol. Maybe he just thought there was a potential for lightening to strike there and since it was a clear day, he didn’t think it would happen? Maybe, it’s possible!

What about the kids who tag highways and highway signs. If one fall and get run over by some unsuspecting motorist, what is because the transportation department didn’t put up a sign saying “doh climb here, you could fall an and get run over by an unsuspecting motorist who will end up being traumatized for the rest of their life because you had something to prove to yourself”.

My child do something like that, after I make sure dey ok, I would have to give them a good back hand and ask them why dey so chupid!

Then again we do live in a world where you could trip over you own child, sue the store and yes you guessed it… WIN!!!

Happy Friday!!!
