Dear Madame Joy
I am the oldest of 4 children and next summer I will be attending my baby sister’s wedding. I am really not excited about this wedding because I know as soon as I get there, I’ll be bombarded by questions concerning my own nuptials. My family seem to get a kick out of reminding me that I am still single and not getting any younger. After this wedding I will be the only one of my siblings not married.
My sisters and brother swear they are happy and want the same thing for me. My mother just wants a grandchild from me before she dies. I am happy as I am. I am fed up of everyone trying to pressure me into something I am not ready for . Madame Joy, how do I let my family know that even though I am the oldest I am ok and I am in no rush to get married.

I would tell you to tell them to kiss your ass but that would not be nice and as a mother if my child told me that, she would most likely lose something connected to her body.
Sweetheart, do not let miserable people get into your head. Ever heard the expression misery loves company? Well your brother is miserable!!! Listen to any man talk about marriage, how many of them would actually try to get someone they know to do it? They do it to their single guy friends because they are jealous of their freedom and want them to be as miserable as they are. Your brother is whipped!!! A man that is happy in his marriage doesn’t’ need to talk about it. It shows!!! Your brother is miserable as ass and you three sisters are probably the cause of it. I bet he chose a woman that threats him the same way his sisters did and we both know how evil young girls are. Don’t listen to him.
As for the sisters. they probably beat those poor men down so much, they don’t know which side is up. Dial 1-800-RENT-A-STUD, need I say more. Get a hot guy to escort you to the wedding. Not hot enough to stop the wedding but hot enough to draw attention. Arrive in a nice car, but not nice enough that your evil sisters would see through it. This will shut the old women up because they will be jealous and it will shut the old men up because they’ll start reminiscing about the good old days. Forget the younger ones, they’ll either want him or want to be him.
Just watch those grabby women, they’ll try to take a chunk out of him.
Unless you know it for a fact that they are , most married people are miserable. Especially the ones that constantly talk about their spouses. They are trying to convince themselves and others of how happy they are
So don’t let them fill your head with nonsense. Take your time to find what you’re looking for. It may come sooner or later but your time will come. Freeze some eggs just in case though. Just saying!
I’ll tell you a secret. Do you know why grandparents love their grandchildren and always want more? Because they always give them back! Always remember, babies are evil and they will steal your soul. That’s why we allow them to grow up to be teenagers. And that’s when they try to kill us. So, don’t let your mother talk you into having a child when you are not ready.
