Change your thoughts and you change your world

Dear Madame Joy,

A study recently came out stating that people who persistently post inspirational quotes on their Facebook page and Twitter feed have a lower level of intelligence. I admit that I have been guilty of that thought a few times but in general I don’t feel that is  true.  I also wondered about the validity of this study, how many people were involved etc, etc, etc. So madame Joy, I am curious about your opinion of this study.

Change your thoughts and you change your world

Dear Change your thoughts and you change your world,
Thank You!

#runonsentencealert!!!

I too have read an article and I must admit that when I heard the news, I did giggle actually it was more like a howling cackle while I tried to keep the steering wheel straight .

Ok now before we get into this!!!  Allyuh, doh get allyuh panties in a bundle eh. This is meant for dem people who feel we need them to inspire us into action, so they try to inspirate us with this constant barrage of messages. Keep in mind the messages are really meant for them. Reverse psychology baby!

I put this study  along the same lines as that last study that came out saying red meat causes cancer. It’s the quantity baby, we all know Bacon is as necessary as the air we breathe.

Joyspirations has made amazing stride in being that shoulder to cry on. Our readers have come to depend on our emotional support, we are there to support you not only in words but sometimes we are open to the occasional backhand.

See, I have this friend right (and she know who she is and she reading it now too and I sure she rolling she eyes too. No is not Tulip eh!), yeah anyways and lord have mercy on my soul but ever blasted time I go on Facebook this damn woman posting inspirational quotes… how many blasted ways can to tell somebody that they chuppid? Not only they chuppid but they so chuppid that even reading the continual variation of the same speech not helping them to figure things out even though it telling them what to do. After the 1000th time, it becomes white noise and all them damn people who commenting and liking the quotes will go on to like and comment on the 999 other quotes and guess what will change, that’s right, not a damn thing.

I admit, I have fallen victim to some to them. The other day I read this quote, “You may think the grass is greener on the other side, but if you take the time to water your own grass it would be just as green”. I thought, WOW!!!, that is so true. Look how much time I spend watching dem other people grass. But being that I am who I am, I then started thinking… but wait a damn blasted minute, I does water my grass, I does fertilize it and it never look like that house I drive by in the summer. ( I like to do slow drive bys and watch the houses with the nice, thick, green, weed free grass and think of what I could invent to just pick it up and put it in my yard). Then I thought again, oh wait a minute they wasn’t actually talking about the grass were they… oops.

Oh I didn’t answer the question, I ole my mind could wander if it want. Well I think it’s a bit extreme to call them less intelligent because you know my damn friend that like to post all them blasted, chuppid, redundant quotes, she actually kinda intelligent. What’s more she actually think she helping people, or maybe she just narcissistic and posting it for herself and she doh really care what nobody think? Just putting it out there.

p.s. Some of them people really want to be helpful eh. To them we offer some leeway. We give you 5, once you pass 5 in a single sitting. Then you need help. You need a inspiration quoteticular intervention. Feel free to contact us at howtostopoverpostingdamnblastedchuppidinspirationalquotes@joyspirations.com. Just Saying!
