I have been friends with this couple for years. I work with the husband and met his wife at one of our office party. We all hit it off and we have been friends ever since. One day he told me he was getting a divorce.I was shocked and I was also worried about his wife so I called her to find out if she was OK. Apparently, it was the first she’d heard of it because he had not told her at that point. She got upset and accused me of being a gossip monger. Later that day, he was thrown out of the house because when she asked him about it, he admitted it was true.
The next day he told me what happened. He said I betrayed his confidence and refuses to speak to me now.
Madame Joy, how do I fix this so that they both know I had not bad intentions?

As I’ve stated before, I have studied long and hard to get my un-degree. We in the business call this the Macco-oligy syndrome! In all my studies, one thing has always proven to be true. One thing that no matter how many ways you approach, it goes back to that one truth. PEOPLE JUST PLAIN CHUPPID!!!
Fix it? No bad intentions? Yuh too damn fass!!! You shouldn be putting yuh nose in married people business. If the woman want to talk to you she woulda call yuh ass. Now look what you gone and do. What you doing calling de woman to get in she business for. Yuh too fass!!! You cyah fix that, jus back off and let the people deal with dey business. You may want to let them know that you are there if they need you,well… it too damn late. Leave them alone. If you insist cause it seem like you jus doh have no common sense, do it from a distance eh. The woman might think you with she man and then, well you know how dem woman an dem is eh! Hell hath no fury and all dat! As of this moment you done do too much. Just shut up and back off!
Allyuh know I doh like to gossip eh but… I have this friend right and she was with this man right and well I find out that this man buy a house so now I vex because she didn’t tell me that dey buying a house (an yes is my business) so I call she and start giving she ah piece ah my mind because I was vex she didn’t tell me nothing right. Only to hear “What? What house? I’ll call you back” Bang an ah get the dial tone, phone hang up… Oh I miss the option to slam down the phone when the person you talking to get you vex. Somehow pressing a button to hang up just doh have the same effect. Yuh doh get the satisfaction of knowing yuh get yuh point across. Oh yeah, where was I? Well it turn out de man buy the house with some other woman!
Now I shoulda keep my vexation to myself and wait fuh she to come to me and tell me in she own time but because I (was) fass (I not fass no more), look what I do?
The moral of the story, stay out a people business. If they want you to know they will let you know. Hell, even if they don’t want you to now, guess what, you will probably find out anyways because it have a lot a maccos out dey and one ah dem will tell you.
Follow these simple steps and you too will attain happiness and clarity.
p.s. For the people out there who are not aware of it’s meaning. A Macco is a person who knows everybodys business. They can probally tell you things about your self taht you did not even kbow, In fact it’s like a full time job. Let this be a lesson to you mind yuh own damn business!Jus Saying!
