Dear Madame Joy,
I love kids just like the anybody else, however I must say that I do have an issue with them in the grocery store. I can’t tell you how many times I almost ran over or wanted to run over one of those monsters at the grocery store. We can’t forget those future shopper carts push by the future shoppers. They always seem to be in the way.
I have actually started putting off going to the grocery until I have absolutely no choice because I don’t want to deal with these kids. Madame Joy, How do I become more tolerant of these lovely blessings God has bestowed on these even lovelier parents.
Baby La La
Dear Baby La La,
Thank You!
First you must understand that a grocery store is not just for doing a grocery. You know that scene in Clash of the Titans when Zeus says “Release the Kraken” and the Kraken comes out and destroys whatever is in its path. That’s exactly what these parents do. They release these little gangstas and then pretend they don’t see them. Their job and they chose to accept it, is to seek and destroy.
These parents just see and wide open field and their kids, just playing in the grass. You know that’s probably the only time they get some quiet time, because the whole store is now looking after their kids.
And those cute little “Future Shopper” carriages, pushed by the even cuter little shoppers… awwww!!! When you have to run in the store just to pick up a quick little something and you have to navigate around the cuteness. Those cute little shoppers don’t look so cute no more, do they?
Here’s what you do:
- 1) Start a petition to have those god awful future shopping carts destroyed. Of course we at Joyspiration support the green movement, so those carts will be recycled.
- 2) Do your best to run (I mean not run) over those little gangstas. Remember it’s not their fault their parents didn’t raise them right.
- 3) For your health, change your shopping hours. If the store opens at 8 am, make sure you are in the parking lot at 7:59. If it closes at 10pm. Do your shopping at 9pm. It should be gangsta free at those times.
Follow these simple steps and you too will attain happiness and clarity.
p.s. When you see my cute like granddaughter in the store pushing her future shopper cart. You better watch your ass and stay far away. The above mentioned steps only applies to other people children. Not me and Mine! Just saying!

Remember children are a blessing! If you see your hands curving into that neckular hold and squeeze position. Keep repeating those words.
